Investment Trust Award Group Winner - Moneywise award:
For the third year in a row J.P. Morgan Asset Management have been awarded the Group of the Year Award 2012 by the Moneywise Investment Trust Awards.

JPMorgan American Investment Trust plc have been awarded the winner of the North America category by the Moneywise Investment Trust Awards, this comes after Trustnet provided performance data over one, three and five years (to 16 January 2012) ranked on net asset value performance (with gross income reinvested). The scores were aggregated over each time period, and the top ten were pulled from each sector. From the top ten, the most volatile trusts were removed, using Morningstar standard deviation measures over the past three years.

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust was awarded the Best New Issue award at the Investment Trust of the Year Awards 2011. In addition to this great achievement and against some very tough competition J.P. Morgan Asset Management was highly commended in the Best Management Group Award.

JP Morgan Asset Management has won the Best European for the JP Morgan European Smaller Companies in the Money Observer Investment Trust Awards 2011. In Europe, as in the UK, a wide range of smaller companies have found they can cash in on demand in faster-growing parts of the world, and cut loose from difficulties in their home markets. The JPM European Smaller Companies Trust have made the most of this trend last year and as a result have achieved well above average returns.

JP Morgan Asset Management has won the Best High Income categories for the JP Morgan Income & Capital Trust, Ordinary Income shares in the Money Observer Investment Trust Awards 2011. The Money Observer Investment Trust Awards 2011 recognise and reward consistent high performance and achievement in investment trust management and performance and are a key performance indicator for retail investors.

In 2011 J.P. Morgan Asset Management was awarded the Gold Standard Award for the ninth successive year – an achievement unmatched by any other UK asset management company. J.P. Morgan Asset Management was awarded the Investment Trust Group of the Year Award 2010 at the Investment Week awards for the third time in four years. The award was judged on a quant basis, looking at performance across the range with an eye to JPMAM’s overall activity in the closed-end world. The judges highlighted JPMAM’s commitment to educating the broad investment community about investment trusts and their success in launching two new trusts in the course of the year.

These awards aim to reward fund managers who have delivered superior performance to investors through a variety of economic conditions and market profiles.

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust was awarded Specialist Investment Trust of the Year 2009 at the What Investment Fund Management Awards. These awards aim to reward fund managers who have delivered superior performance to investors through a variety of economic conditions and market profiles.

JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust was awarded Best Single Country Investment Trust 2009 at the Investment Week awards. The award was judged on a quantitative basis and the judges highlighted the Trust's longer-term track record.

The award was judged on a quants basis, looking at performance across the range with an eye to JPMAMs overall activity in the closed-end world. The judges highlighted JPMAMs broad and consistent range and commitment to the closed-end space.

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust was awarded Best Single Country Investment Trust 2008 at the Investment Week awards. The award was judged on a quants basis and the judges highlighted the Trust's longer-term track record.

These awards stand out within the industry because they are entirely voted for by independent financial advisers and are designed to recognize and reward those companies that provide the best products, services and support to financial advisers.

The Investment Trusts Magazine awarded J.P. Morgan Asset Management the Best Group Award 2008 in recognition of outstanding achievement in the investment trust industry. This award is given to the group that served its shareholders admirably and furthered the cause of the investment trust industry. It is the fourth time JPMAM has won this award with no other group winning it as many times.

JPMorgan American Investment Trust was awarded Best Overseas Investment Trust 2008 at the Investment Trust Magazine annual awards, a year in which the Trust comfortably outperformed the 43 other trusts in the nine sectors focused on overseas companies.

JPM European Fledgeling Investment Trust was awarded the Best European Trust 2008 at the Money Observer Investment Trust Awards for the third year running.

JPM Income & Capital Investment Trust won Best UK Growth & Income Investment Trust 2008 at the Moneywise Investment Trust awards. The awards are judged by a panel of experts – with emphasis on performance, manager skill, investment strategy, resources, prospects and pricing.
